  The most common species of cockroaches is the infamous German Cockroach. They have been reaking havoc in homes and making homeowners lose sleep for years. Known for being notorious survivors, German Cockroaches, can feed off almost anything. When food gets scarce these unwanted intruders have been known to feed off of toothpaste, glue, and even soap. German cockroaches prefer to live in warm humid areas, close to food and moisture sources. They have been known to make their way into homes by grocery bags, cardboard, and secondhand appliances.
